Réjane Sénac is a CNRS tenured researcher/lecturer at the Centre for Political Research at Sciences Po (CEVIPOF). She is a member of the steering committee for the research and lecture programme on gender studies at Sciences Po, known as PRESAGE. She holds a PhD in political science specialization political theory from Sciences Po, she has also a Master degree in Law and in Philosophy from Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne University.

Her researches focus on the contemporary expressions of the equality principle through the prism of differentiations regarded as illegitimate or legitimate.

From the analysis of the uses of “parity”, “diversity” and the so-called “gender theory”, the stake is to question the links between differentiations which frame public space – political and legal in particular, and the principle of justice at the heart of the social contract.
